Mansions at Moses Lake celebrated it's Grand Opening on October 1, 2009. The opening was attended by citizens of Texas City, members of the City Government, members of the Texas City Chamber of Commerce and the management and staff of Burchfield Development Group, the project owner.
Mansions at Moses Lake is one of the first new Galveston Bay area communities to open following the devastation caused by Hurricane Ike in 2008.
The new affordable senior housing community, Mansions at Moses Lake, is now open in Texas City, Texas. The independent living community provides Class “A” features and amenities in housing for senior citizens in Texas City. The community is conveniently located to senior citizens from La Port, Seabrook, Clear Lake, Friendswood, Santa Fe, La Marque, Galveston, and all of the other Galveston Bay communities in between. Affordable housing for seniors, age 55 and over, is offered in one and two bedroom apartments.
A movie theater, full size swimming pool, fitness center, common room, library, computer center, and business center highlight the long list of amenities.
